Asia Standard Americas, one of the world’s premier developers of international upscale residences, is the North American subsidiary of Asia Standard Group of companies. Others include Asia Standard International Group Limited, a publicly-traded company in Hong Kong since 1984. Asia Standard Americas is currently redeveloping two prominent sites in downtown Vancouver - the old Landmark Hotel and 1400 block on Alberni Street - both located in the West End. Consistently partnering with award-winning architects, the Asia Standard team is dedicated to the design and execution of high-quality mixed-use projects which contribute to the neighborhood and the beautiful skyline of Vancouver.
The challenge
The client wanted us to design a progressive multilingual website that would represent the real estate projects the client develops. Burst had to curate a photoshoot of the staff in their environment in a manner that would best represent the company’s brand.
For this project, we used Wordpress to create an intuitive and easy to use backend that can easily be managed by the client to make updates with ease.
The details of the design choice were clean and minimal, with acute attention to the UX. It was essential for us to find the right layout solution to showcase the brand’s promise to the end-user and its shareholders alike. Creating a great user experience involves ensuring that the website’s heavy robust imagery tells the brand’s story.
Our team worked closely with the client to gain a thorough understanding of their industry and their potential buyers in order to set Asia standards apart from its competitors.
With the use of the right aesthetic choice in typeface, buttons, supporting elements, images and interactions enriched the client’s user experience.
With art direction, we presented mood boards which acted as a shot list for the client and photographer to understand and follow. The images depicted the culture and strength of the company.
